SignArtPro Website Migration

SignArtPro’s website was moved from WordPress to Next.js and rebuilt around three main goals: make services easier to find, show the quality of the company’s work, and help visitors request a quote with less effort.

We did not simply copy the old WordPress pages into a new system. The content, page structure, navigation, service sections and enquiry journey were reorganised for the new website.

The finished website now works as a service catalogue, project portfolio, pricing tool and lead-generation platform.

Clear Service Discovery

SignArtPro service cards for construction, gym, shopfront and commercial signage.

SignArtPro offers many types of signage, so the homepage needed to make the range easy to understand.

We created an image-led service section covering shopfront signage, commercial signs, interior signs, exterior signs, window graphics, healthcare signage, safety signs and event signage. Visitors can recognise the type of sign they need before reading the full service description.

Each card follows the same clear structure: image, service name, short description and link. This keeps the section organised even though it contains a large number of services.

Interactive Signage Explorer

We created an interactive building model to show where different signs can be used.

Visitors can select points around the building to learn about shopfront signs, projecting signs, window graphics, fascia signs and freestanding signage. This is useful for people who know where they need a sign but may not know the correct product name.

The section turns technical signage information into something visual and easy to explore. Instead of reading through a long list, users can see each sign in a realistic setting.

From a development point of view, every marker has a fixed position on the illustration and opens its own information card. The markers also need to stay aligned when the image becomes smaller on tablet or mobile.

Before-and-After Comparison

The comparison slider shows how a location looked before the signage was installed and how it looked after the work was completed.

We used this section because signage is a visual service. Dragging the slider makes the result much clearer than describing the change in a paragraph.

The component places two matching images on top of each other. As the visitor moves the control, one image is revealed and the other is hidden. It also supports touch controls so the same interaction can work on mobile.

Interactive Pricing Calculator

Signage prices depend on several details, including sign type, size, quantity, installation and delivery time. A fixed price table would not give most customers a useful estimate.

We created a multi-step calculator that allows users to choose a sign, enter dimensions, select optional services and view an estimated cost. The calculator also explains that the final quotation may change depending on artwork, materials and project complexity.

The estimate changes on the same page whenever the user updates an option. There is no need to reload the page or start the form again.

The calculator also collects better information before the enquiry reaches the SignArtPro team. This makes the first sales conversation more useful for both sides.

Scalable Services Structure

The main Services page was organised into clear categories rather than one long list of products.

Each category introduces the main service and then shows the related sign types below it. For example, commercial signage includes solutions for offices, warehouses, shops, corporate buildings and other managed spaces.

This structure supports two types of visitors. Some users already know the service they need. Others need to compare different options before making a decision.

The same layout is reused across the service categories, which keeps the website consistent and makes new services easier to add later.

Detailed Service Pages

Each main service has its own page with more detailed information.

The pages explain the customer’s problem, the available sign types, the project process, common applications, pricing guidance, FAQs and the next enquiry step. The commercial signage and shopfront signage pages also include an instant pricing section.

We used a shared page structure so the website remains familiar as users move between services. The content changes for each service, but the main layout stays consistent.

This approach avoids creating pages that feel copied while still keeping development and future updates manageable.

Workshop and Production Proof

The About page was designed to show how SignArtPro works behind the finished product.

Real workshop images support the company story and show that design, production and quality control are handled as part of the same process. The page also highlights project experience and transparent pricing.

This was important because customers are not only choosing a sign design. They are also choosing the team that will manufacture and install it.

The section uses a mix of short content blocks and large production images, allowing the company to build trust without relying on generic claims.

Structured Project Pages

The Projects area was created as more than a gallery.

Each project can show the client, location, timeline, brief, challenge, production process, final result, testimonial and technical details. This helps visitors understand the level of work behind each finished installation.

A reusable project layout keeps every case study consistent while still allowing each project to tell a different story.

The project pages also connect real work with the relevant service pages. Visitors can see the result and then move directly towards the service or quotation process.

Better Quote Request

SignArtPro quote form with service selection, file upload, project details, contact information and location map.

The enquiry form asks for more useful project information than a standard contact form.

Visitors can choose the service they need, explain the project and upload an image or document. A picture of the shopfront, window, wall or existing signage often gives the team a much clearer starting point.

The form also explains what happens after submission, which makes the next step feel clearer.

WordPress to Next.js Migration

The original website was built on WordPress. We migrated it to Next.js to create a cleaner and more flexible frontend.

This reduced the website’s reliance on WordPress plugins and gave the development team more direct control over layouts, interactions, image loading and future updates.

In simple terms, the new website is built from smaller reusable parts instead of relying on separate page-builder layouts and plugins for every feature.

Interactive Frontend Features

The website includes several custom interactive features:

  • Signage hotspots
  • Before-and-after slider
  • Multi-step pricing calculator
  • FAQ accordions
  • Card sliders
  • Form uploads

These features use browser-side code to respond immediately when the visitor clicks, drags or changes an option.

For example, the pricing calculator stores the user’s choices and updates the estimate without refreshing the page. The signage explorer stores which hotspot is active and displays the matching information.

Heavier interactive components can also be loaded only when they are needed. Next.js supports this through lazy loading, which can reduce the amount of JavaScript needed during the first page load.

Only mention this as an implemented feature after confirming it with the developer.

Image Loading and Performance

Images are essential for a signage website, but large image files can slow down a page.

The migration included improved image handling and lazy loading for media-heavy sections. This means images lower down the page do not all need to load at the same time as the first screen.

Next.js image tools can also provide different image sizes for desktop and mobile, use modern file formats and reduce movement while images are loading.

For the final case study, use confirmed performance figures if available, such as page-load time, Lighthouse score or Core Web Vitals.

Responsive Development

The website was developed for desktop, tablet and mobile rather than designing only one large desktop layout.

Cards move into fewer columns on smaller screens. Forms use larger touch-friendly controls. Images resize without breaking the layout. Interactive sections such as the comparison slider and pricing calculator remain usable on mobile.

This responsive work was handled section by section because each component behaves differently. The original case study confirms that responsive layouts were part of the rebuild.

Navigation and Page Structure

The website now separates services, projects, pricing and company content into clearer pages.

Links between related services, projects and quote sections help users continue their journey without returning to the homepage every time.

Next.js supports faster page-to-page navigation by preloading linked routes in the background where appropriate.

Only describe route preloading as part of this project after confirming the exact development setup.

SEO Migration

SEO was reviewed while the website was being moved from WordPress to Next.js.

The work included checking page URLs, metadata, headings, service hierarchy, internal links and the relationship between service and project content. The goal was to improve the new website without losing the search value built by the previous site.

The new content structure also gives individual signage services more space to explain what they offer and answer common customer questions.

Next.js supports page titles, descriptions, social-sharing information and other metadata through its built-in metadata tools.

The final case study should only list the SEO features that were actually added to SignArtPro.

Form and Enquiry Handling

The website has two main enquiry routes: the pricing calculator and the detailed quote form.

Both collect useful project information before the SignArtPro team contacts the customer.

The technical work includes checking required fields, limiting uploaded file types and sizes, displaying error messages and showing a clear success state after submission.

CRM connection, email automation, spam protection and conversion tracking can also be added to this section once the development team confirms the exact setup.

Technical Result

The new website includes:

  • A Next.js frontend replacing WordPress
  • Reusable website components
  • A clearer service and project structure
  • Interactive signage hotspots
  • A before-and-after comparison slider
  • A multi-step pricing calculator
  • Responsive layouts
  • Improved image handling
  • Reduced WordPress plugin dependency
  • More detailed enquiry forms
  • A stronger SEO content structure

The result is not only a better-looking website. It is a more organised and flexible website that can support new services, projects and content as SignArtPro grows.

Final Outcome

The project turned SignArtPro’s former WordPress website into a clearer, faster and more flexible Next.js platform.

Visitors can now identify the right signage service, understand where each product is used, compare completed transformations, explore detailed projects, calculate an estimated price and submit a more useful project brief. The website supports the full journey from initial research to quotation instead of working as a basic online brochure.

The reusable frontend structure also gives SignArtPro room to grow. New services, project case studies, landing pages and content sections can be added without rebuilding the website each time.

The result is a website designed to support customer decisions, generate better enquiries and remain easier to develop as the business expands.
