01 The Overview
Aster Hospital runs an advanced rehabilitation programme called Walk Again, robotic-assisted therapy that helps people recover movement after injury or illness. COM8 STUDIO created the campaign identity and the environmental design that takes Walk Again out of the clinic and into the city: on the hospital facade, in a mall, on a bus, and in the hands of a friendly robot. Physical production and installation were delivered with Joseph Graphics.
02 The Challenge
Rehabilitation is hard to advertise. It sits close to pain, patience and recovery, so the usual clinical blue-and-white hospital look feels either cold or a little sad. Walk Again needed the opposite: hopeful, human and premium, so advanced therapy reads as a step forward, not a last resort.
It also had to hold together across a huge building facade, a mall activation, a moving bus and a digital screen. One line carried it: Regain movement. Rebuild life.
03 The Idea
We built the campaign around movement and encouragement, not clinical detail. A clear "Walk Again" wordmark, a figure mid-stride forming the A, sits with the Aster Hospital identity in English and Arabic, with warm, grown-up messaging: "Advanced Rehabilitation. Stronger You.", "Get Back to What You Love", "Every Step Forward Begins Here."
Meet ASTRA. To make the technology approachable, we designed ASTRA, a friendly robotic companion that became the face of Walk Again. We took it from hand sketch to 3D vector to final character, so advanced healthcare tech feels like a warm guide rather than a cold machine.
04 The Work
The mall kiosk. A futuristic but welcoming activation kiosk where ASTRA greets visitors beside interactive screens, so people meet the programme in a public, low-pressure setting. We took it from sketch to 3D to final render.
The hospital facade. The campaign's biggest surface is the building itself: a full facade carrying the Walk Again identity, the hero visual and three supporting messages, shown as a clear before and after against the previous facade.
Alternate directions. We also explored more than one design direction on the same facade, so Aster could choose the tone that fit best.
The rehab bus. To take the message onto the road, we designed a Walk Again bus wrap, "Every Step Forward Begins Here," carrying the campaign across the city and pointing to asterwalkagainrehab.com.
05 What We Created
- A Walk Again campaign identity (logo, bilingual messaging, hero visuals)
- ASTRA, a custom robotic brand character (sketch to final)
- A hospital facade design, with before/after and variants
- A mall activation kiosk (concept to render)
- A rehab bus wrap
- Art direction across the campaign, with production and installation by Joseph Graphics
06 The Result
Walk Again came away with one warm, confident identity that carries from a hospital wall to a mall floor to a moving bus, and a character in ASTRA that makes advanced rehab feel human. Instead of another clinical health advert, Aster got a campaign that looks like hope, which is exactly what a rehabilitation programme should sell.
07 Closing Thought
The hardest part of healthcare marketing is making something serious feel human without making it soft. Walk Again respects what recovery takes, and still makes you believe the next step is worth it.
